They advise people on what to eat in order to lead a healthy lifestyle or achieve a specific health-related goal. Dietitians and nutritionists work in many settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and cafeterias; or for state and local governments.

How to Become a Dietitian or Nutritionist
Most dietitians and nutritionists have a bachelor’s degree and have completed supervised training through an internship. Many states require them to be licensed.

Pay - Job Outlook
The median annual wage for dietitians and nutritionists was $57,910 in May 2015. Employment of dietitians and nutritionists is projected to grow 16 percent by 2024.
